The school serves children from preschool through eighth grade with a state-of-the-art STEM facility and most importantly, a Catholic formation that comes from integrating the Faith into every class.
Position Summary: St Mary Help of Christians Catholic School seeks a joyful, patient aide to support students in the exploration of education through the lens of the Catholic Faith. This position focuses on engaging students in hands-on learning and supporting the teacher in the classroom. St. Mary Help of Christians teachers should possess competency not simply in their primary discipline, but should model a Catholic life for their students. Applicants must be practicing Catholics who adhere to all magisterial teachings of the Church. Their lives should bear active and unmistakable witness to a deep love for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Position Qualifications:
Ideal Candidates will possess:
● 3 or more years of experience teaching in elementary level classrooms.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, using feet, climbing/balancing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, reaching above shoulders at least 1/3 of the time. This position requires that you will lift up to 10 pounds at least 1/3 of the time.

The position focuses on core classes, but teaching techniques can be adapted to the skills and interests of the teacher. St. Mary, Help of Christians teachers should possess competency not simply in their primary discipline but should model a life in pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty through the lens of the Catholic Faith in all subjects. A bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Applicants must be practicing Catholics who adhere to all magisterial teachings of the Church. Their lives should bear active and unmistakable witness to a deep love for our Lord Jesus Christ.
