Full-Time STEM Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year

Position Summary: St Mary Help of Christians Catholic School seeks a joyful, intellectually-motivated STEM teacher to lead students in the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom, and virtue. Teacher should be capable of teaching all ages from pre-K through 8th grade. The position entails all subjects of STEM to include science, technology, engineering (particularly robotics), and math. St. Mary's School teachers should possess competency not simply in their primary discipline but should model a life in pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty through the lens of the Catholic Faith in all subjects. A bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Applicants must be practicing Catholics who adhere to all magisterial teachings of the Catholic Church. Their lives should bear active and unmistakable witness to a deep love for Our Lordy Jesus Christ.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Effectively leading their classroom
  • Implementation of adopted curriculum
  • Collaboration with colleagues
  • Organizing classroom and activities
  • Communicating effectively with parents
  • Assessing student performance
     

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Teaching certificate is preferred.
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.


Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

This position requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, using feet, climbing/balancing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, reaching above shoulders at least 1/3 of the time. This position requires that you will lift up to 10 pounds at least 1/3 of the time.
