My name is Jenna Thompson. This is my 16th year at St. Mary's. Many of my years here have been teaching math and science, however, this is my third year as the school media specialist!
I see K-5th grade students once a week for library and technology skills. I will work closely with junior high teachers to provide assistance with projects and offer plenty of book checkout opportunities. I will also see 6th grade students daily for a novel study class.
My goals are to help students foster a love of reading, to gain knowledge and for pleasure, provide students with materials and services to support and extend classroom learning, model how to access and process literary information, and continuously grow in technological skills.

HOW DO I LOG INTO MY GOOGLE CLASSROOM?
1. Go to Google.com.
2. Login at the upper, right-hand corner using your school email address and password.
3. Click on the waffle icon (9 dots) in the upper, right-hand corner.
4. Click on the green and yellow icon that says "Google Classroom."
5. Click on your class!

AR prizes are passed out at the end of each quarter. You may earn each reward once per year. Keep reading and taking AR tests to earn more points!

At the end of the year, in K-3rd grade, the top two students in each class with the highest points will earn popcorn/movie in the library. In 4th-8th grade, the top two students with the highest points in each grade will earn a lunch out at Pizza Joint.
